JROTC shooting team prepares for All-Service Air Rifle Championships
Walla Walla High School JROTC Senior Army Instructor Lt. Col. (R) Bill Bialozor named the four team members who will represent Wa-Hi at the All-Service Air Rifle Championship in two weeks. The members are Rishi Patel (Captain), Karri Mickelson, Kyle Jameson, and Sarah Jameson.

"As hot as our students are shooting right now, we have a solid chance at winning the whole thing," Bialozor said. "We are
shooting higher scores than we did at Army Nationals."

Two weekends ago, the JROTC shooting team competed in an NRA Offhand shoot in Spokane. Sarah Jameson, Caitlyn Lasseigne, and Allison Juergensen won the match. Sarah placed third overall and won the Bronze medal.

Last weekend at the Cascade Mountain League Championship Drill Meet, the Precision Shooting Team won their match with five of the top six medals awardees being Walla Walla High School shooters. The Sporter Team placed second with three shooters earning awards. Our Precision Team won the overall league championship for the year.

Sarah Jameson has earned an invitation to attend the Junior Olympics Offhand shoot in Colorado Springs in April. The school's Sporter Team has earned an invitation to the Three Position Junior Olympics shoot in Alabama in June.
