Walla Walla Public Schools employees are dedicated to providing students high quality instruction in an aligned and coherent system while addressing their social and emotional needs in a safe and engaging environment.  The Human Resource Department is committed to improving student learning by recruiting, hiring and supporting highly effective personnel.  Our goal is to attract and retain a diverse staff, which is representative of the students we serve, who are dedicated to our schools and district.

Special Education Certification and Teacher Residency Program

Walla Walla Public Schools, Walla Walla Valley Education Association, and Washington Education Association (WEA) have partnered to offer WEA's Teacher Residency Program in Walla Walla Public Schools.  The Residency Program is an opportunity for you to earn your residency teacher certificate with an endorsement in special education and obtain a teaching position in our community.  Detailed information, applications, admissions, and program information is available here.
