Wa-Hi's Blake Gerling wins state track title

Congratulations to Wa-Hi track star Blake Gerling for winning the state title in the 300 hundred meter hurdles and becoming the first Wa-Hi athlete since 1994 to win it all. Blake is looking into EWU, WSU or UI to continue his track future.

Coach Eric Hisaw's comments on Blake Gerling:
"Blake is an extremely hard-working, serious, and talent young man.  He has put in countless hours over the past years to end up as a State Champion.  Everything he has done has been to win a state title.   He's left nothing to be second guessed and left himself no excuses.   He deserves to end his career this way!  He truly is the best hurdler in the state of Washington.   Blake has a very bright future ahead of him and whichever college picks him up is going to get a great student, great hurdler and an even better person!"
