Requests for Transcripts
Requests for transcripts for former students need to be made to:
Fill out a Request for Public Records Form or send in your own written request. Include your contact information (email addresses are helpful) and detailed information of what you are looking for.

By law Walla Walla Public Schools is required to respond to your request within five (5) business days after receiving a request. At that time, Walla Walla Public Schools will do one or more of the following:
- Provide copies of the record(s) requested or make the record available for inspection – or, in the alternative, provide an internet address and link to the District’s website where the specific record can be accessed (provided that the requestor has not notified the District that he or she cannot access the records through the internet); or
- Acknowledge that the District has received the request and provide a reasonable estimate of the time it will require to fully respond; or
- Seek clarification of the request; or
- Deny the request (although no request will be denied solely on the basis that the request is overboard).
If a request is not clear; you may be asked for further clarification.
Requesters will be charged 15 cents per copy that exceed twenty-five (25) pages. Payment may be made by cash, check, debit/credit card or money order payable to the District.
Requests are subject to disclosure under the Washington State Public Records Act (RCW 42.56). If a list of individuals is provided to you by Walla Walla Public Schools, it may not be used for commercial purposes or to give or provide access to material to others for commercial purposes, as prohibited by RCW 42.56.070(9).
