SEATech Blood Drive

More donors needed for SEATech Blood Drive

Are you ready to help save lives? If so, please consider donating blood at the SEATech Health Science Careers program Blood Drive on April 12 in partnership with Vitalant. SEATech needs to fill a few more spots for its spring event. This blood drive activity is linked to Vitalant’s STEM Grant Program. Schools participating in the program can earn up to $5000 in STEM grants from Vitalant. The program aims to educate youth and the community on the importance of donating blood.

“We are hoping to have the last blood draw for 2024 in the fall of September and possibly December if we come up short,” said Instructor Sandy Thomas. “Our goal is to get 100 participants in 2024 to put us in contention for the grant dollars.”
