Graduation Parade
Wa-Hi seniors don caps and gowns before visiting district schools
On Tuesday, Walla Walla High School held its Senior Assembly complete with seniors in their caps and gowns. After senior speeches, a final song from Megan Hua and Franco Ruiz and receiving their department awards, the seniors boarded school buses for visits to their elementary and middle schools.
At each school, the graduates paraded through the halls to the roars of cheers and high fives. Many seniors expressed how powerful it was to walk through and see many of their former teachers. Younger students enjoyed being a part of the first-ever graduate parade. ASB and Leadership teacher Shayna Hutchens extends her thanks to the Transportation Department and all the schools for helping make this reflective experience possible.
