The annual Kindergarten Fair was a huge success as a record number of families attended. This year 146 families made the trek to the fairgrounds to learn about kindergarten programs for next year. This is up 20 from last year and three times as many from the first year.
"Families were able to meet, ask questions, and get resources from each of our elementary schools and various community agencies," said Pam Clayton, Family Engagement Coordinator. "Our newest students were able to meet with teachers, practiced going through a lunch line to pick out fruit from a school salad bar, practiced getting on/off a school bus, and received materials and books to use at home while they wait for September 9th to arrive."
Great job Pam Clayton for coordinating this event. Contact your neighborhood elementary school for more information about kindergarten and support programs.
