New fire suppression system protects server room

A new fire suppression system was installed in the district office to protect Technology’s server room which houses thousands of dollars of high-tech computer equipment. The new HFC-125 Fire Suppression System uses a special gas to remove oxygen from the air to extinguish the fire. The previous water sprinkler system would have destroyed all the equipment if activated. In addition to the replacement costs of the server room equipment, the new system also helps ensure internet services, server files and other data applications remain operational at all times.
