WSU and EWU hot spots for teacher recruits

This week, Equity and Access Coordinator Sergio Hernandez met with several former Walla Walla High School students during teacher recruitments visits at Washington State University and Eastern Washington University. Hernandez is conducting outreach visits to regional colleges to recruit teachers to Walla Walla. The state’s teacher shortage, especially in support of bilingual education programs, is prompting this new outreach program.
