District supports Realtors Food Drive this month

This month the district is supporting the Walla Walla Association of Realtors “Care & Share” Annual Food Drive. Collection barrels are in each school throughout October. Schools are competing to see which can collect the most food to help fill the shelves of the Blue Mountain Action Council Food Bank. This year's campaign goal is 50,000 lbs. Contact Peter Swant to get a route. 

 

Volunteers are need to distribute and collect bags in area neighborhoods October 14, 15, 16. The district is also planning it's Fill the School Bus event at area grocery stores Saturday, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Teacher Lori Finn is coordinating this activity.
