World-renowned fiddler teaches district students
District orchestra students participated in a workshop with world-renowned fiddler and violinist Mark O'Connor. O'Connor is in Walla Walla with his wife Maggie for a concert with the Walla Walla Symphony.
As part of their residency here, they presented a workshop at Cordiner Hall with the Pioneer, Garrison and Wa-Hi orchestra students.
District orchestra students will also be performing the first piece of the concert, "Fiddler's Dream" with Mark & Maggie O'Connor, and the Walla Walla Symphony. More than 125 string players are involved!
