Wa-Hi dishwasher replacement leads to water leak discovery
This summer the dishwasher unit in the Wa-Hi kitchen was replaced. During the installation, district maintenance workers discovered a significant water leak in the water supply pipe.
“When excavating, approximately six inches of soil has been washed out from under parts of the floor in the kitchen,” said Principal Pete Peterson. “The Maintenance Department is doing a great job preserving our 1963 building, but the 53-year-old infrastructure continues to show its age.”
