District teams with C2C to connect with residents

C2C neighborhood organizers Delia Gutierrez and Maria Alonso lead School Board member Derek Sarley on a neighborhood walk in the Washington Park area. This outreach effort was to inform the residents about how Walla Walla Public Schools is teaming with C2C for a community engagement event Thursday, May 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Carrie Center located at 711 Carrie St. District leaders will ask what is working in our schools, what needs improvement and how we can best work together. There will be food and beverages and plenty of friendly faces.

Superintendent Dr. Bill Jordan, Communications Director Mark Higgins and Equity and Access Coordinator Sergio Hernandez also participated in the neighborhood walk.
