Emergency telephone upgrades enhance safety
Technology Department Telecommunications Specialist Steve Olsen connects a new emergency phone at Walla Walla High School’s main office. This upgrade includes a dedicated telephone for emergency calls from classrooms to the main office. This bright red phone has a unique ringtone and is centrally located for quick response. Olsen plans to update the emergency telephones at the other district schools over the summer as part of this safety enhancement effort.
