Hunter Degerness – Lincoln High School
Hunter Degerness transferred to Lincoln sophomore year after struggling at Wa-Hi. He is a talented musician who has his own band, “For What May Come” that plays at local venues in Walla Walla. He is the lead guitarist. The band has a recorded album that is available at www.bandcamp.com. His other hobbies include freerunning , long boarding and gaming.

Hunter excels in Math and English at Lincoln and is currently in Running Start at Walla Walla Community College. He plans to attend WWCC next year to complete a transfer degree and then move on to pursue a bachelor’s degree. He is undecided on his major but will probably be something that involves math and science.

Adrianna “Anna” May – Lincoln High School
Adrianna “Anna” May transferred to Lincoln her sophomore year and has really flourished. Anna is an accomplished artist and has won several awards for her art. Most recently she won four awards at the 42nd Annual Educational Service District 123 Art Show; the Judge’s Choice award, Superintendent’s Choice award, honorable mention, and a $1,000 scholarship from Central Washington University. Her art called “The Places We Go” will now move on to the state level at OSPI.

Anna has been very involved in both drama and The Lift programs at Lincoln. She has performed in several productions including Grease – The Musical in 2014. She plans to continue her art, attending Walla Walla Community College next year and then transferring to Pacific Northwest College of Art. Her hope is to someday open her own gallery.
