Lincoln High School opens pantry for hungry students

Lincoln High School has opened its own food pantry to provide groceries for students in need. Intervention Specialist Shelly Phipps reports the needs continue to grow at her school. She has reached out to area stores for donations. She is also teaming with the Blue Mountain Action Council Food Bank for support.

Lincoln High School students manage the district’s recycling collection program. Phipps says food collection bins will be added next to the recycling bins for more ways for staff and parents to contribute. To make a donation or for more information, contact Shelly Phipps: sphipps@wwps.org.
