Wa-Hi student WW Fair Grand Champion

Congratulations to Walla Walla High School FFA member Quinn McHie for being named the 2014 Walla Walla Fair and Frontier Days Grand Champion in the Market Steer category. Quinn raised the calf from his own herd of cattle. The Dam (Mother) of this steer was a champion heifer in 2007 when Quinn was showing with Valley Chapel 4H Club.

Thanks to FFA advisors Lindsey Butcher, Jessica Johnson and Arch McHie for all their hard work at this year’s fair. Nearly 70 farm animals were on display. The FFA continues to provide students opportunities to shine.
