Wa-Hi Bond proposal fails
The bond proposal to modernize Walla Walla High School failed by receiving a 53.30 percent Yes vote during the Feb. 12 Special Election. This mark failed to meet the required 60 percent Supermajority for approval.
Proposition No. 1 Walla Walla High School Dist. 140:
Approved: 5,056 = 53.30 percent
Rejected: 4,430 = 46.70 percent
Superintendent Mick Miller thanked the staff, parents, students and community volunteers for helping inform the community about the proposal. No decisions have been made regarding future bond proposals.
