Principals raise funds for Healthy Kids

Principals Kim Doepker (Blue Ridge), Michelle Carpenter (Berney) and Maria Garcia (Sharpstein) are participating in the Coeur d’Alene Half Marathon May 28 to raise funds for The Health Center in Walla Walla. Currently The Health Center has clinics at Blue Ridge Elementary, Pioneer Middle School and Lincoln High School. The Health Center will expand to Walla Walla High School next school year and is considering Garrison Middle School in the future. The trio has already exceeded its goal of $2000 and is looking to raise more. Click on the link to make a donation.

“We are three elementary principals who are passionate about making sure every child learns at the highest levels possible,” said Doepker. “For some students, lack of access to health care makes it hard for them to reach their learning potential.” 

The Health Center, Inc. in Walla Walla, Washington runs school-based health clinics to support the physical and mental health needs of our students so they can learn, grow, and be productive members of our community. All donations will help support the work of The Health Center in Walla Walla.
