Tuesday, Walla Walla High School staff on the school’s Facilities Improvement team traveled to Wapato and Yakima to tour recently modernized schools as part of the district’s Long-range Facilities Improvement Planning process. Teachers, support staff and Principal Pete Peterson were part of the group which visited Davis High School and Wapato High School. Both schools were modernized in the past few years following successful bond measures. Wa-Hi staff took photos and notes and asked questions of administrators, staff and students at the schools. The tours served as an information gathering step as the district begins refining its needs and developing options for potential solutions.
