Taste Washington Day showcases local food
School kitchens throughout the district were filled with the aroma of local beef, fresh fruits and vegetables today as part of the statewide Taste Washington Day. School lunches were scratch cooked with local foods.
Taste Washington Day Menu:
- Meatloaf or Meat Balls (local beef)
- Peppers, Cantaloupe, Carrots, Corn, Cucumbers, Grapes, Green Beans, Onions, Pluots, Pears, and Potatoes
- All fruit and vegetables are from local farms and will be picked fresh for this event.
