Wa-Hi staff discuss facilities needs with Task Force
Community Facilities Task Force co-chairs Paul Schneidmiller and Ted Cohan and members of the task force met with Walla Walla High School staff recently. Staff addressed the lack of air conditioning and poor air quality, small classrooms, and inadequate science labs and equipment.

They also said there is a need for more restrooms, commons spaces for students to use when they are not in class, central locations for administration and school support services including counselors. The task force is scheduled to visit Lincoln High School, Pioneer Middle School and Blue Ridge Elementary and Head Start/ECEAP before the end of the school year.

This input will be used as the Community Facilities Task Force develops a long-range facilities improvement plan.
