Walla Walla School District 2014 Summer School Programs

Blue Ridge:
Targeted program for 3/4 graders in the Talent Program
Dates: June 23 – July 31, Monday through Thursday, 8:05 a.m. to 1 p.m.

YMCA all-day program open to any K-5 student (fee-reduced)
Dates: June 23 – Aug. 29. Monday through Friday, 8:05 a.m. to 5 p.m.
(Free breakfast and lunch)

Edison:
June 18 – August 13: Open library hours Wednesday mornings from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Prospect Point:
Summer Reading Program
Dates: June 23, 25, 27 and 30; July 2, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30
and August 1 (Times TBD)

Sharpstein:
Reading and Math for incoming 3-4 grade students
Dates: Aug. 4 to 22, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Lunch will be offered (free) from 11:30 am. to Noon

Garrison:
Film Camp (held at Wa-Hi): July 7 – 10; Drones, Multi-Copters and Unmanned Aircraft: July 14 – 17; LEGO Robotics: July 21 – 24; Bridge Busters: July 28 – 31 (All sponsored by 21st Century)

Pioneer:
Improv. Acting Camp (held at Wa-Hi Commons): July 7 – 10; Healthy Living Camp: July 14 – 17; Drones, Multi-Copters and Unmanned Aircraft Creating Buzz: July 21 – 31; 49er Summer Reading Program (library): July 10 – 31 (Thursday only) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (All sponsored by 21st Century)

Lincoln:
Credit Retrieval options June 16 – July 3, 9 to 11 a.m., for credit deficient students only

“The LIFT” summer programming, June 16 – July 31; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (free lunch and snacks) June 16 – July 3: LHS Summer!!; July 7 – 10: Film Camp; July 14-17: Quad-Copters at Garrison; July 21-24: Minecraft/Archery at Wa-Hi; and July 28 – 31: Magic.

Wa-Hi:
Credit Retrieval options for seniors, juniors, sophomores, respectively. Dates: June 16-July 24, Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to Noon.

Leadership Camp: June 16-19; Medieval Engineering Camp: June 23 – 26; Gamemaker Camp: June 30 – July 2 (All sponsored by 21st Century)
