Greenways partnership ends

Walla Walla Public Schools ends partnership with Greenways Academy online school

As of June 30, 2014, Walla Walla Public Schools will no longer be in partnership with Greenways Academy. Walla Walla Public Schools began its partnership with Greenways Academy in 2010 to offer online school choices for students in grades 6-12.

“While the partnership met the needs of students and families, changes in Alternative Learning rules at the state level, coupled with a shift in alternative learning programming priorities for Walla Walla Public Schools, made it apparent that we would need to end the Greenways programming option,” said Dr. Linda Boggs, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment.

There are no plans presently for Walla Walla Public Schools to partner with another credit-bearing online school.
