Farm-to-School features lentils

Farm-to-School program features lentils this month
April Harvest of the Month on Thursday, April 17 will feature lentils from the Palouse region where they hold the annual National Lentil Festival. Nutrition Services staff will be cooking them into something delicious and samples will be available at tasting tables.

Spring Garden Club is starting this week at Sharpstein, Green Park and Prospect Point for those who registered before spring break. You can check out the schedule at the Farm-to-School web page on the district's website. http://www.wwps.org/programs/farm-to-school-program
