Board to continue bond talks

The Board of Directors will continue discussing the possibility of placing a $10.2 million bond on the April 22, 2014 Special Election during the March 4 school board meeting at Prospect Point at 6:30 p.m.

This measure would fund a new, stand alone, science building at Walla Walla High School. No other work on campus would be completed at this time. Community members are encouraged to attend and share their views on this potential proposal.  Cost for the project is an increase of .30 per $1,000 of assessed value. T

his measure would require a 60 percent supermajority for approval. Should there be any excess funds, they will be returned to Walla Walla taxpayers by paying down the bond debt.
