Les AMVET se joignent à la célébration de la Semaine américaine de l'éducation

American Education Week is November 16-20. American Education Week is always celebrated the week prior to Thanksgiving and this year marks the 94th annual celebration. Members of the AMVETS Post 1111 (Don Schack, Richard Bardsley, Phillip Shivell) performed colors at Sharpstein Elementary during a before school celebration event. Roberta Bardsley sang the National Anthem. School Board President Sam Wells addressed the students with an historical account of American Education Week.

“In Walla Walla, the district is focused on preparing all students for college and career readiness,” said Wells to Sharpstein students. “We have amazing educators in this district who put the needs of students first.”
