Expectations for the Use of WWPS Library Spaces

We appreciate your interest in utilizing our library spaces outside of regular hours. To ensure a harmonious experience for all users, please take note of the following guidelines and expectations. Your cooperation in observing these rules will help maintain a safe and orderly environment for everyone.

Reserving the Library Space: We encourage you to reserve the library space ahead of time to ensure availability for your needs. It's a popular spot, and we don't want you to be disappointed!
Access to Certain Areas: Please note that the space behind the circulation counter and the library offices and workrooms are reserved for staff. We appreciate your understanding.
Navigating the Bookshelves: We ask that you refrain from entering the narrow spaces between bookshelves to keep the area safe and accessible for everyone.
Use of Reading Steps: Unfortunately, the reading steps at Green Park are not currently accessible. We're working on improvements and appreciate your patience.
Handling Library Materials: We kindly ask that books and other library materials remain in their places unless specifically needed for an event or activity that has been pre-approved by the library staff.
Using Computers and Devices: Except for the presenter’s computer (when reserved), the library's computers and devices are reserved for specific uses and events. We recommend bringing your personal devices if you need them for your visit.
Maintaining a Respectful Volume: To ensure a peaceful environment for all, please keep your voice at a moderate level. We all appreciate a quiet space to think and work.
Guidelines for Movement: To keep our library safe and enjoyable for everyone, please walk and refrain from running or playing. We also ask that you supervise any children with you, keeping them in your reserved areas.
Food and Drink Guidelines: To preserve the cleanliness and integrity of our library, food and drink are not allowed. Thank you for helping us maintain a clean space for everyone.

Rearranging Furniture: Feel free to adjust the furniture for your needs; we only ask that you return items to their original places before you leave. This helps us keep the space welcoming for the next guests.
Concluding Your Event: Please remember to turn off the presenter's computer, projector, and any other equipment you've used. This small step goes a long way in helping us maintain our facilities.
