New crosswalk safety signs in use across the district
Several schools are placing new crosswalk safety signs in the streets to alert drivers to stop when children are crossing. The new signs are part of the school district’s School Zone Safety Program.
School principals are also taking an inventory of their crossing guard equipment and supplies and ordering replacement items as needed to ensure staff have the necessary gear to safely perform their duties. Thanks for helping keep everyone safe in school zones by slowing down and paying attention.
