National speakers keynote College and Career Readiness event in Walla Walla
GEAR UP 4 Tomorrow

Walla Walla Public Schools, College Place Public Schools, Walla Walla Community College and WSU GEAR UP are hosting a day of College and Career Readiness for students and families grades 8th through 12th.
 
This robust event features national speakers; Lieutenant Colonel, US Army Retired, Consuelo Kickbusch and Roy Juarez Jr and a lunch keynote with Dr. Keith Woo-Young, WSU Tri-Cities Chancellor. Students and the parents will have the opportunity to rotate through four different workshops with information about college scholarships, financial aid requirements, college savings, career exploration, college options in high school, high school success, and much more!
 
GEAR UP 4 Tomorrow kicks off at 8:30 AM with a light breakfast of pastries, fruit and coffee. Keynote Presentations begin at 9:00 AM and GEAR UP will sponsor a catered lunch served through the culinary program at Walla Walla Community College with Chancellor Keith Moo-Young, WSU Tri-Cities, leading a keynote lunch presentation.
 
Washington State University GEAR UP, involves a variety of innovative partnerships and initiatives to support students in college and career readiness skills.
