Wa-Hi staff further review facility improvement designs

District turns to Wa-Hi staff to further review facility improvement designs
This week, architects from BLRB/USKH spent two days at Walla Walla High School meeting with teachers and support staff to review design options for remodeling the 50-year-old school. This marks the next step in the district’s listening plan to address facility improvement needs at Wa-Hi. Staff will also be surveyed to get input on design preferences, timing for taking a bond proposal to the public and cost options.

Once this phase is completed later this winter, the district’s Community Facilities Task Force will review the data and continue its work to develop a recommendation to take to the school board for capital project improvements at Walla Walla High School. No timeline has been set for placing a Wa-Hi bond on the ballot.
