Girls Cross Country team academic champs
Wa-Hi Girls Varsity Cross Country team earns Washington’s top academic honors for 4th consecutive year
The Walla Walla High School Girls Varsity Cross Country team maintained a team Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.956 to take the 4A Cross Country State Academic championship for the fourth consecutive year. “This accomplishment is unheard of in any sport,” said Don Wilkins, district athletic director. “These outstanding student-athletes excel on the field and in the classroom. Two of the girls have been members of all four teams and others have been members of several of the four teams.”
