Wa-Hi student death

It was a terribly difficult day in Walla Walla as a young member our district family has passed away. Walla Walla Public Schools is sad to report the death of a 17-year-old Walla Walla High School student.

The cause of the death is under investigation by The City of Walla Walla Police. The Walla Walla County Coroner will conduct an autopsy. The death did not happen on school grounds or during the school day.

The district’s GriefBusters program was deployed today to support staff and students. GriefBusters support will be available on Monday as well.
