Concert and dance benefit Silent Auction for Elias Hegdal
Community members and loved ones are planning a concert and dance benefit for Elias Hegdal, who was injured in a car accident after colliding with a deer. He suffered severe brain trauma. Hegdal is a close friend of Pioneer Middle School teacher Dennis Bennett’s family.

Elias wife, Jenny, teaches at Central Middle School and he is a cabinet maker in Weston.  They were in the process of moving from College Place to Athena when the accident occurred. Dennis Bennett’s daughter organized a team to get the family moved to Athena.

His daughter is also organizing a fund raiser in support of the Hegdal family.

- Milton Freewater Community Center
- $5 per person, $10 per family
