5th Grade Outdoor School

This coming April, all Walla Walla Public Schools 5th graders are invited to camp! This overnight camp experience will truly be something they’ll remember forever. Thanks to funding from our District and Outdoor Schools WA, the program is completely free for all students.

Your student is invited to attend camp with the other 5th graders at their school, along with teachers, school staff, a nurse, and selected Wa-Hi student leaders who will serve as counselors. Camp Dudley, the YMCA camp where the learning adventure will take place, will provide all meals, cabins, and other facilities as well as fun educational programs.

Please watch Parent Square for communications about upcoming family information nights when you and your student can ask questions and learn more. In the meantime, you can learn more about Camp Dudley, the dates of your school’s camp, view a daily schedule and a packing list, review the Frequently Asked Questions, and ask questions of your own.
