Wa-Hi Athletics Postseason Update, May 4, 2023

Walla Walla High School athletic teams are in the midst of concluding their regular season and are headed to postseason competition. Softball, tennis, and golf still have regular season action to complete this weekend and early next week. Track, baseball, and soccer have completed their regular season and are moving on to postseason action..

The boys soccer team has earned the #2 seed to the District 8 tournament and will host North Central HS from Spokane, today, May 4 at 4:00 p.m. on the Wa-Hi campus. The Blue Devil baseball team has also earned a #2 seed and will host Cheney HS on Saturday, May 6 at 1 p.m. at Murr Field. Please come out to the pitch/field and support our student-athletes and coaches. Track athletes will compete in the JV championships on Friday, May 5. The MCC league championship meet will be held at Edgar Brown Stadium in Pasco, on Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13. With all District 8 events, the cost for attendance is $10 for adults and $5 for seniors/students. Reminder that WWHS students are admitted for free with a valid school ID. You may purchase tickets ahead of time at Ticket Spriket: SoccerTicketOnline or BaseballTicketOnline

We would also like to announce that Bowe Ebding has accepted the position of head cross country coach here at Walla Walla High School. Bowe was a member of the Blue Devil cross country team from 2004-06 before competing at Eastern Washington University. For the past eight years he has served as an assistant head coach to Mike Locati.
