First Responders Support School Safety

Safety First!

John Knowles and Eric Wood of the City of Walla Walla Fire Department visited Green Park Elementary today to observe the school’s evacuation drill. This activity is part of the district’s partnership with local first responders to assist with emergency drills.

In another effort to enhance school safety, the district’s Emergency Preparedness leadership team meets with Walla Walla first responder leaders quarterly to review safety plans, discuss procedures and enhance working relationships. School safety remains the district’s top priority.
