March 2023 Pulse video with Superintendent Smith
This month Superintendent Dr. Wade Smith updates viewers on the Strategic Planning process. Last month the district held its Strategic Planning Summit at the Walla Walla High School Commons. Stakeholders learned more about the draft goals of the plan and shared their input as part of the outreach phase. The next step is to operationalize the plan and get it ready for implementation this fall.
Superintendent Smith also praised district staff and students for the tremendous academic performance growth in iReady math and reading exams from fall to winter.
He thanked the community for its support of the levy and how these funds are being used to bring back Traffic Safety Education this spring to high school students.
This month also features Parent/Teacher Conferences for students in grades 6-12.
