SEATech student wins regional nursing skills competition

Recently SEATech students in the Health Sciences Careers program hosted a skills competition for students from SEATech and Tri-Tech in Kennewick who are involved in the Pre-Nursing program. The competition involved a hands-on testing portion evaluated by the second-year nursing students from Walla Walla Community College. Students also sat for a written exam of 85 questions.

“SEATech once again proved their professionalism and work ethic paid off,” said Instructor Sandy Thomas. “Kaitlyn Flinders of SEATech took first while classmate Blake Jones finished second and Emma Crabtree of Tri-Tech came in third place. SEATech also won the overall competition.”
