Lincoln Gears Up for Construction

Local contractor Walla Walla Electric preps electrical systems at Lincoln High School for construction set to begin this fall. This week movers are clearing out furniture, equipment and supplies ahead of the extensive renovation project. Thursday, July 22 the district will open construction bids for the project approved by voters in November 2018. The school will be under construction throughout the entire 2021-22 school year. Students will remain on campus in portable classrooms.

• $5.71M Local + $5.26M Eligible State Match

RENOVATIONS
1. Renovate 1927 classrooms
2. Minor renovation to 1964 wing
3. ADA entrance
4. Elevator for handicap accessibility
5. Parking improvements
6. Walking path to new teen center
7. Drama/fine arts addition
8. Remove existing 4-classroom portable
*All facility construction costs including life-safety, seismic upgrades, inflation adjustments, contingency, design/engineering fees, abatement costs, permitting fees and taxes.
