District Salutes Teachers

Teacher Appreciation Week 2021 - May 3-7, 2021

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week and an opportunity to thank Walla Walla educators for their service. (L-R) Liz Campeau and Nora Badillo from the Human Resources Department get ready to deliver tokens of appreciation to teachers. This year they assembled fun tote bags containing blue face masks with the district logo and hand sanitizer. The creative card included in the tote bag said -- ‘We simply cannot mask our appreciation for you’ was a fun way of thanking all of the hard working teachers in the school district.

Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Walla Walla educators are working hard to ensure every student has the tools they need to reach their full potential.
