Park St Closure near Sharptein

Park Street improvement project to impact traffic near Sharpstein & District Office

S. Park Street from E. Alder Street to Howard Street will be closed to through traffic for utility and road work starting April 27. Starting Tuesday, April 27, 2021, S. Park Street from E. Alder Street to Howard Street will be closed to through traffic for the Park Street IRRP project. Detours will be in place. Please use E. Chestnut Street or Bryant Avenue to route around the construction zone.

Sewer main replacement will be the first underground utility work to take place. The Park Street portion of the project is expected to be complete by September 2021. During the closure, emergency vehicles will not have access through the work site.
