Voters Approve Replacement Levy

Walla Walla voters sent a strong message of support for Walla Walla Public Schools on election night as 71 percent voted YES on the 2020 Replacement Levy. Thank you for your vote of confidence as we work together to realize our vision of Developing Washington's Most Sought-After Graduates!

Levies pay for educational programs and opportunities for students the state does not fund. Levies support school programs like music, art, honors courses and athletics and funds more than 100 staff not paid for by the state’s basic education funding model. The Replacement Education Levy is not a new tax, but a continuation of a local levy requiring voter approval every four years. Rates for property owners are estimated to remain the same throughout its four-year duration.

Thank you voters!
