Arbor Day Celebration
The district partnered with the City of Walla Walla for its annual Arbor Day celebration. School board member Dr. David Hampson and President Ruth Ladderud helped Prospect Point 4th and 5th grade students plant a dogwood tree at the new Sycamore Tree Park on the campus of Walla Walla High School. Students read a poem and sang a song about the importance of trees. Thanks to City Parks and Recreation Director Andy Coleman and his department for coordinating the event.
