Day of the Child Event Postponed

Mother Nature is forcing the district to postpone its Day of the Child event to Friday, May 10. The event coordinated by the district's Bilingual Education Department was originally planned for this Saturday (April 13), but rainy weather predictions are prompting the change. • 4 to 8 p.m.
• Fort Walla Walla Museum (755 Myra Road)
• Free food for the first 500 guests
• Community agencies in attendance to share information
• Games, bouncy houses, face painting
• Live local music: Salvador Hernandez, Robert Elizondo, Ballet Folklorico (Norma Arceo) and Laura Angulo
• Free entrance to Fort Walla Walla Museum
