Gillespie Golden Onion Recipients
Blue Ridge Elementary teacher Tina Brennan, Garrison Middle School teacher Marcia Follett, and Lincoln High School teacher Marci Knauft recently received 2012-2013 Gillespie Golden Onion awards as recognition for their outstanding service to Walla Walla students. These recipients received $500 each for use in their classroom.
Longtime Walla Walla residents Dr. Mike Gillespie and his wife Sue established the “Golden Onion Award” to provide school supplies, equipment and professional development funds to Walla Walla educators.
