Garrison Middle School is proud to announce that its Jazz Band has won Best Large Group in the Junior/Middle Large Group Instrumental Division at the prestigious 2025 Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival, held at the University of Idaho in Moscow.

On May 9, Congressman Michael Baumgartner visited Walla Walla and made a special stop at Walla Walla High School during his time in the valley. Students had the opportunity to meet with the Congressman and ask questions during a 45-minute tour of the campus.

Communities in Schools of the Blue Mountain Region is hosting a Kids Clothing Drive from May 1 to 16, and they’re inviting the entire community to get involved. The goal is to help fill school clothing closets to support students in need throughout the district.
