The Health Center (THC), located at Walla Walla High School, Lincoln, Pioneer and Garrison schools, offers convenient, on-site health care for students, saving parents time and reducing stress.

Local contractor Hays Electric is installing eight new charging stations for the district’s expanding electric bus fleet. Each charging station can charge two buses at once. This week the first three of 15 electric school buses arrived from the manufacturer.

The Walla Walla High School JROTC Rifle Team made history at the Junior AirNats Regional Qualifier Rifle Match held at Wa-Hi’s rifle range this past Saturday. With 48 shooters from across eastern Washington competing, the Blue Devils emerged victorious in both Precision-Class and Sporter-Class events, setting a new school record in the process.

Walla Walla Public Schools proudly announces the arrival of the first three of 15 electric school buses, signaling a significant step toward sustainable transportation.
On November 22, the Garrison Middle School STEM Club, led by Stephanie Penrose, made a big impact at the Blue Mountain Action Council food bank distribution center. Joining forces with other community volunteers, these dedicated students helped assemble 1,000 Thanksgiving dinners for local families in need.

This week, 10 students, including Jessica Johnson and Alyssa Drader, traveled to Moses Lake, Washington, to compete in the FFA State Potato Judging and Tractor Competitions.

This past weekend, Garrison Middle School proudly took three Unified Robotics teams to the state competition in Renton, WA. Out of eleven participating schools, Garrison was the only one representing the east side of the state. Unified Robotics brings together special education and general education students to design and program robots for specific challenges.

Walla Walla Public Schools is excited to share Apple Valley News (ABC TV) Multi-Media Journalist/Anchor Rylee Fitzgerald visited Walla Walla today to spotlight the district’s exceptional schools. Edison Elementary School and Pioneer Middle School were recently recognized by the Washington School Recognition Program for their outstanding achievements in closing opportunity gaps and fostering student growth and academic success.
