Walla Walla Public Schools proudly announces the recipients of its 2025 Graduates of Distinction awards.

Post season has started for many Blue Devil spring athletic teams. 

Garrison Middle School is proud to announce that its Jazz Band has won Best Large Group in the Junior/Middle Large Group Instrumental Division at the prestigious 2025 Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival, held at the University of Idaho in Moscow.

On May 9, Congressman Michael Baumgartner visited Walla Walla and made a special stop at Walla Walla High School during his time in the valley. Students had the opportunity to meet with the Congressman and ask questions during a 45-minute tour of the campus.

The Garrison Middle School Drama Club is proud to present its spring production, The Day the Internet Died, a lighthearted and timely comedy that explores what happens when the world suddenly goes offline.

Yesterday, Assistant Superintendent Chris Gardea and Executive Director of Teaching and Learning Christy Krutulis visited Green Park, Prospect Point, and Sharpstein Elementary Schools, as well as Pioneer Middle School, to personally congratulate staff for their schools’ recognition by the Washington School Recognition Program.

Communities in Schools of the Blue Mountain Region is hosting a Kids Clothing Drive from May 1 to 16, and they’re inviting the entire community to get involved. The goal is to help fill school clothing closets to support students in need throughout the district.

Walla Walla Public Schools is proud to announce that four of its schools have been recognized by the Washington State School Recognition Program for outstanding performance during the 2023-2024 school year.

In the May 2025 edition of the Pulse video, Superintendent Dr. Wade Smith congratulates Green Park, Sharpstein, and Prospect Point Elementary Schools, along with Pioneer Middle School, for being recognized by the Washington School Recognition Program for their outstanding performance during the 2023–2024 school year.
