학생 기록

교육구는 학생의 교육 지도 및/또는 복지, 학교의 질서 있고 효율적인 운영에 필요한 학생 기록을 법에서 요구하는 대로 유지합니다. 개별 학생과 관련된 모든 정보는 비밀이 보장되고 전문적인 방식으로 취급되어야 합니다. 교육구는 교사와 기타 학교 공무원이 정당한 교육적 이해관계가 있는 교육 기록에만 접근할 수 있도록 합리적인 방법을 사용할 것입니다. 정보가 주 및 연방법에 따라 공개될 때 학군 및 학군 직원은 중과실 또는 악의로 행동하지 않는 한 민사 책임에서 면제됩니다.

교육구는 승인된 최신 버전의 지방 정부 일반 기록 보관 일정(CORE) 및 교육구 및 교육 서비스 지구 기록 보관 일정에 따라 기록을 보관하며, 이 두 항목은 모두 국무장관 웹사이트에 게시됩니다.

학생 기록은 교육구의 자산이지만 학생과 학부모/보호자가 질서 있고 시기적절한 방식으로 이용할 수 있어야 합니다. "학부모/보호자"에는 미성년 학생이 부양가족으로 밝혀져 주 양육권에 있는 경우 주 사회 및 보건 서비스 부서가 포함됩니다. 학부모/보호자 또는 성인 학생은 부정확하거나 오해의 소지가 있거나 학생의 개인 정보 또는 기타 권리를 침해하는 것으로 여겨지는 학생 기록의 정보에 대해 이의를 제기할 수 있습니다.

학생 기록은 요청 시 다른 학교 기관으로 전달됩니다. 고등학생은 예비 고용주가 학생의 성적 증명서를 검토할 수 있도록 교육구에 권한을 부여할 수 있습니다. 법에 의해 달리 규정된 경우를 제외하고 교육구가 학생 기록을 학교 기관 또는 조직 이외의 기관에 공개하기 전에 부모 또는 성인 학생의 동의가 필요합니다.

교육감 또는 피지명인은 학생 기록의 내용, 관리 및 통제를 관장하는 절차를 수립할 것입니다.
