The “Building Belonging” Recognition Nomination Form

The Building Belonging recognition is awarded to a staff member, a student or group of students of any grade level, who demonstrates a commitment to one or more of the following:
● Promoting activities that create and sustain a sense of belonging, fairness, and justice for all students
● Developing opportunities for students to have a voice in their school community
● Supporting a project that is focused on improving the experiences for historically underrepresented students
● Giving of oneself by way of dedicating efforts to be a resource and a source of strength to fellow students
● Practicing respect while applying an equity lens - finding ways to ensure all are included

El reconocimiento “Construyendo Pertenencia” se otorga a un miembro del personal, un estudiante o un grupo de estudiantes de, en cualquier nivel de grado, que demuestre un compromiso con uno o más de los siguientes:
● Promover actividades que creen y mantengan un sentido de pertenencia, equidad y justicia para todos los estudiantes
● Desarrollar oportunidades para que los estudiantes tengan voz en su comunidad escolar
● Apoyar un proyecto que se enfoca en mejorar las experiencias de los estudiantes históricamente subrepresentados
● Darse a sí mismo a través de dedicar esfuerzos para ser un recurso y una fuente de fortaleza para los compañeros estudiantes
● Practicar el respeto mientras se aplica una lente de equidad - encontrar maneras de asegurar que todos están incluidos
