The United Way of Blue Mountain’s Elevate program is launching a five-week Family Academy series designed to help families of students in grades 9-12 navigate the path to high school graduation and prepare for life after high school.

Walla Walla Public Schools will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of Labor Day. We hope our students, families, and staff enjoy a safe and relaxing holiday weekend!

We are committed to fostering a secure and supportive learning environment, and we encourage everyone in our school community to play an active role in keeping our schools safe.

This year, Wa-Hi students earned 150 AP Scholar recognitions, with an overall average AP exam score of 3.68 among recognized students. The honors included 58 AP Scholars, 42 AP Scholars with Honor, and 50 AP Scholars with Distinction.

Walla Walla Public Schools is proud to be part of the 2026 Walla Walla Fair & Frontier Days and thanks all of the WWPS Building Fair Coordinators who worked hard to create engaging displays in the Education Building.

September is Suicide Prevention Month, an opportunity for Walla Walla Public Schools to raise awareness, encourage meaningful conversations, and remind students, staff, families, and community members that help is available.
